GAL is volunteer run and every donation goes directly to ensuring that our hounds are safe, happy and healthy.
Every dog that comes to us has a different story, and many arrive needing vital veterinary care, vaccinations, or simply a soft bed to call their own. Your support covers everything from essential microchipping and neutering to the simple joy of giving a hound their very first toy.
Not sure how much to donate? Every hound's needs are unique, but here is an idea of what your money can do based on average care costs:
£10 can buy a lucky hound a brand new toy to welcome them to their foster home.
£15 helps cover an average month's supply of essential flea and worming treatments.
£20 goes towards a cozy fleece jumper to keep a skinny hound warm.
£25 typically pays for a microchip registration, ensuring a hound is safely identifiable.
£50 helps feed a hound with high-quality food for about a month.
£75 contributes to a full set of initial vaccinations (including kennel cough) to keep a new arrival safe.
£100 goes towards a dental scale and polish to keep those pointy smiles healthy.
£200 helps cover the average cost of neutering or spaying.
