Pointy Noses, Big Hearts
We’re all here for the same reason.
It’s those big soulful eyes and the sheer joy of seeing these gentle, pointy-nosed dogs with incredibly big hearts finally get the loving homes they deserve.
At GAL, everything we do is driven by our love for these incredible hounds. Because our charity is entirely run by volunteers, every single person who gives their time becomes a vital cog in the Greyhound Awareness League wheel. We simply couldn't do it without you!
Bring Your Unique Talents
It takes a huge variety of skills to keep our rescue running smoothly. Whether you are a whizz at IT, have brilliant people skills for chatting with potential adopters, or excel at organizing and leadership, we need your expertise. While our official volunteer roles are for those aged 16 and over, our younger hound enthusiasts are always more than welcome to come along and join the fun at any of our monthly walks!
Give a Little, Give a Lot
Whether you can only spare a few hours a month or you’re looking to dive into a larger weekly commitment, your time gives a deserving hound their golden ticket to a cosy sofa and a forever family.
Come share your skills, learn some new ones, and meet a fantastic community of fellow hound-lovers. And the best perk of all? Getting to spend your time helping the most adorable, long-nosed dogs around!
