Greyhound Awareness League’s 2025 Annual General Meeting

We are pleased to announce that our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 13.00 on Sunday 22nd June 2025.

Our AGM is only open to our current members, honorary members and lifetime members.

If you are a member of GAL you should now have received your invitation and meeting papers via email. Please let us know if this hasn’t arrived yet.

We hope that members will be able to attend to meet the committee, find out what’s been happening throughout the year and discuss some of our plans for the next 12 months.

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to have their say on charity business and of course you have the opportunity to nominate and elect committee members.

If you aren’t yet a member, but want to get involved and attend the AGM, you can join up via the membership page on this site by Saturday 21st June 2025. Annual GAL membership fees are £25 for individuals and £35 for families.

The last 12 months have been challenging for GAL and indeed for many animal rescue charities. However, we feel strongly that with the support of our members and volunteers we can continue our hard work and overcome these challenges to enable us to provide homeless hounds with wonderful forever homes.
